Dr. Gavin Richards got his start in the healing profession when he was a teenager on Long Island, NY. He began as an E.M.T., and after a short time realized he had a passion for health and wellness rather than crisis care. While completing his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oneonta, he had the opportunity to intern in a chiropractic office and discovered that chiropractic was his calling. When he’s not at the clinic, Dr. Gavin enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing softball and golf, and being outdoors.
A Chiropractic Education
While studying for his doctorate at Life University, Dr. Gavin participated in many extracurricular clubs and activities, attended numerous seminars, and spent many hours in the lab, which has given him insight into a wide array of chiropractic techniques. His specialties include sports chiropractic, nutrition, family care and physiotherapy. After graduation, Dr. Gavin completed the 120 hour course to become certified in Applied Kinesiology, as well as other continuing education in a variety of other techniques and specialties.
